Newcastle United are in contact with the agent of Netherlands defender Jayden Oosterwolde regarding a potential move, according to Turkiye Gazetesi. The 24-year-old player is reportedly valued at €20 million.

According to Fanatik, Newcastle is preparing to approach Fenerbahçe for Jayden Oosterwolde's transfer in the winter transfer window. The management of Fenerbahçe expects a fee of 30 million Euro for the player. It was reported that Fenerbahçe is pursuing Diogo Leite and El Karouani because of the possibility of Oosterwolde's departure. Jayden Oosterwolde is reportedly open to leaving to advance his career.

Newcastle has been monitoring Oosterwolde for a long time and is preparing to send its officials to Istanbul soon to make an initial move. Finding an alternative for Dan Burn is among Newcastle's transfer priorities, and Oosterwolde is a primary target for this role. A substantial offer from Newcastle will be required to persuade Fenerbahçe's management. An agreement with Parma stipulates that the Italian club will receive 30% of any transfer fee exceeding €7 million.
