According to AS, an agreement has been reached between Girona and Atletico Madrid for the transfer of Javier Boñar. Boñar arrives to replace Arnau Martínez, who moved to Valencia. The 21-year-old right-back from Madrid began playing for the Atlético first team last season. He is becoming a new player for Girona's first team and is signing a contract for the next four seasons, which will run until June 30, 2030. The Spanish U20 international joined Atlético in July 2023, and his previous contract was set to run until 2028. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.50m.
