Jarosław Kubicki, who was previously linked with Jagiellonia Białystok, has now become a part of Górnik Zabrze. Although his contract with Jagiellonia was set to last until June 30, he opted to join Górnik Zabrze without a transfer fee, despite Jagiellonia's management offering him an improved extension. He has now signed a contract with Górnik Zabrze that will last until June 30, 2028. Górnik Zabrze stated that they had engaged in serious discussions, and they pointed out their attractive stadium and rich history as influential factors in Kubicki's decision to transfer. With 302 appearances in Ekstraklasa, including 34 matches with five goals and three assists in the last season, Kubicki regards this move as an important advancement in his career. This transfer is Górnik Zabrze's fifth signing in preparation for the 2025/2026 season, following the signings of Gabriel Barbosa, Natan Dzięgielewski, Wiktor Nowak, and Theodoros Tsirigotisa.
