Janis Blaswich Transfer from RB Leipzig to Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Kicker has reported that Bayer Leverkusen is interested in signing Janis Blaswich to replace Lukas Hradecky. Bayer Leverkusen is considering Blaswich, who is currently under contract with Leipzig until 2026, as a backup to their new number 1, Mark Flekken. The interest in Blaswich is at an advanced stage, and he is expected to join for a small seven-figure fee. Last season, Blaswich was on loan at Salzburg and has experience with 47 Bundesliga games and 16 Champions League appearances for RB Leipzig. At 34 years old, he is in advanced negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen, who are keen to finalize the deal as Hradecky prepares to join AS Monaco. Blaswich, who has recently been an alternate goalkeeper for the German national team, is set to be positioned behind Mark Flekken and ahead of Niklas Lomb on Leverkusen's roster.
