Jan Leszczyński leaving Legia Warszawa II?
According to Paweł Gołaszewski from the weekly 'Piłka Nożna' on the Meczyków.pl channel, an expected loan of Jan Leszczyński to Pogoń Grodzisk Mazowiecki for regular playing time has been suspended. Gołaszewski stated that the new Legia coach, Marek Papszun, decided to halt the loan. He also reported that a decision has been made for Jan Leszczyński to join the senior Legia squad for their training camp instead.
Jan Leszczyński, an 18-year-old Polish centre-back, may move from Legia Warszawa to Pogoń Grodzisk Mazowiecki in winter. He currently plays for Legia Warsaw II, which he joined in January 2024, and his contract runs until June 30, 2026. Leszczyński has one cap for the Poland U19 team and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €300k. In the 2025/2026 season, he has made 11 appearances in the Betclic 3 Liga, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
