KV Kortrijk has signed Swedish midfielder Jamie Roche from Swiss club FC Lausanne-Sport. Roche, who is 25 years old and also holds English citizenship, signed a contract until 2029. The transfer serves as a late reinforcement in the summer window for the club, following a difficult start to the season. Roche is a defensive midfielder with technical qualities, game insight, and a strong work rate. He joined Lausanne-Sport in July 2023 and has been capped twice by Sweden at the U20 level. According to Sportieve baas Nils Vanneste, Roche has a particularly interesting profile and is a player the club had been following for a long time. Vanneste also stated his belief that the midfielder can continue to develop within the team. He expressed satisfaction that Roche chose KV Kortrijk and highlighted the player's intensity and technical ability. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €3.50m.
