Porto is one of several European clubs interested in 23-year-old English attacking midfielder James McAtee amid his struggles at Nottingham Forest. According to The Daily Mail, a number of Premier League teams, including Chelsea, Bournemouth, Fulham, Leeds United, and Sunderland, are monitoring his situation. It is also reported that Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt, PSV, RB Leipzig, and Stuttgart are interested in McAtee. The midfielder has made six Premier League appearances without scoring a goal or providing an assist this season. McAtee, who has 24 caps for England U21, is under contract with Forest until 2030. Nottingham Forest signed him from Manchester City in August 2025 for a reported initial fee of €25.5 million.
