Jalal Abdullai Transfer from Elfsborg to Midtjylland
According to Voetbalnieuws.be, Anderlecht is interested in signing Jalal Abdullai. Abdullai is owned by IF Elfsborg and is currently on loan at Molde FK. The player is also of interest to KRC Genk, FC Midtjylland, FC Copenhagen, and English Championship clubs Middlesbrough and Preston. While Molde has a purchase option and would like to keep him, his parent club IF Elfsborg now seems open to a sale after his strong season, if the asking price is met.
Jalal Abdullai, a 20-year-old Ghanaian forward owned by Elfsborg, is being followed with interest by FC Midtjylland and several other clubs. Abdullai was on loan at Molde this season, and his contract there runs until December; the Norwegian club has a purchase option they wish to exercise. However, there is other foreign interest. The Swedish publication Expressen reports that Anderlecht and KRC Genk are interested in the player. FC Kopenhagen, Middlesbrough, and Preston are also said to be monitoring the forward. Abdullai's contract with Elfsborg is valid until the end of 2028, and his market value is listed by Transfermarkt as 2.2 million euros.
