According to Voetbalnieuws.be, Jalal Abdullai is a transfer target for Anderlecht. Abdullai is owned by IF Elfsborg and is on loan at Molde FK. KRC Genk, FC Midtjylland, FC Copenhagen, and English second-tier clubs such as Middlesbrough and Preston are also interested in him. Molde has a purchase option and wants to keep him. His parent club now seems open to a sale after his strong season in Norway, provided a suitable price is offered.

According to the Swedish publication Expressen, both Anderlecht and KRC Genk are showing interest in signing Jalal Abdullai. The 20-year-old Ghanaian forward is owned by Elfsborg and was loaned to Molde, where he scored 8 goals and provided 1 assist in 23 matches. Molde has a purchase option in the loan deal, which the club reportedly wants to activate. There is also wider foreign interest, with FC Midtjylland, FC Copenhagen, Middlesbrough, and Preston also said to be following the player. Abdullai's contract with Elfsborg runs until the end of 2028, and Transfermarkt lists his market value at 2.2 million euros.
