Stevenage striker Jake Young is expected to join Scottish Premiership side St. Mirren on a permanent deal this January. The 24-year-old, who has been at Stevenage for 18 months, has played 63 minutes across six substitute appearances under Alex Revell this season. The Paisley club has experienced injuries among its forwards, with Jonah Ayunga out for two months, and they hope Young will be available for their match against Hearts of Midlothian on Wednesday. Young arrived at Stevenage from Bradford City after a successful loan spell at Swindon Town.
