Jahyendrow Amour has signed his first professional contract with Ajax, and the Amsterdam club announced the deal through its official channels. The eighteen-year-old Dutch talent has been with the club's youth teams since 2020, and his contract is for two seasons until mid-2028. Amour, who is currently part of Ajax U19, made his debut for Jong Ajax on November 24, playing the entire match against Helmond Sport. This season, he has also made seven appearances for the U19s in domestic leagues. On the club's website, director of football affairs Marijn Beuker stated that Jahyendrow is a physically strong, left-footed defender who can play as a back or centrally. Beuker noted that Amour earned the contract himself due to his distinctive drive and good mentality, adding that the club is confident in his further development in professional football.
