NK Varazdin received 500,000 euros from the sale of Ivan Mamut. The former Croatian player from FCSB and Universitatea Craiova has signed with his new team until 2028. Persija announced the transfer of the striker through a statement, which also specified the duration of the agreement. The announcement stated that the 29-year-old Croatian striker is now officially part of the Persija team for the 2026/2027 and 2027/2028 Super League seasons and is ready to make his best contribution in attack.

Ivan Mamut, a 29-year-old Croatian centre-forward, is no longer a player for Varaždin and will proceed with his football career at Persija Jakarta. Varaždin is set to receive 500 thousand euros for the transfer, which represents their largest transfer of the summer. At his new club, Mamut will be a teammate of Stjepan Lončar, Denis Kolinger, and Kerim Memija. The player has earned 3 caps and scored 4 goals for the Croatia U19 team. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €600k.
