Sportske Novosti reports that the transfer of Slaven Belupo's 23-year-old Croatian midfielder, Ivan Ćubelić, to Rijeka is nearing completion. According to Podravski list, the proposed deal involves a fee of 300,000 euros for Slaven Belupo, which will also keep a percentage of any future sale. Last season, Ćubelić made 38 appearances for the club, scoring two goals and providing two assists. Ćubelić, who joined the club in July 2024 and has a contract until July 2027, has also been linked with Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split. The midfielder has been capped six times for the Croatia U19 team and has a current market value of €550k, according to Transfermarkt.
