Dalmatinski Portal reports that the transfer of Ivan Ćubelić to Rijeka from Slaven Belupo is official. Ćubelić previously played 71 matches for Slaven Belupo over two seasons. He is a former player of Hajduk, for which he played 12 official matches for the first team and scored one goal. Hajduk released him to Slaven Belupo in July 2024 without a transfer fee but retained the right to 15 percent of his future transfer. The latest information indicates that Rijeka paid Slaven Belupo 300,000 euros for Ivan Ćubelić. This means 45,000 euros will go to Hajduk.

According to Index.hr, Ivan Ćubelić's transfer to Rijeka has been confirmed. The official club website announced him as a new player. Ćubelić arrives from Slaven Belupo and has signed a four-year contract. Rijeka is expected to pay Slaven Belupo a fee of approximately 300,000 euros, along with an agreed percentage of any future sale. A portion of the transfer fee will also go to Hajduk, because the clubs had previously agreed on a zero-euro transfer with an undisclosed percentage of a future sale when Ćubelić moved from Hajduk to Slaven Belupo.
