CFR Cluj is expected to register 25-year-old Georgian center-back Iva Gelashvili after the club's transfer ban is lifted. According to manager Marius Șumudică, the club has initiated proceedings with FIFA to have the sanction removed. Gelashvili is among several players, including Sergiu Buș and Billel Omrani, that the club reportedly plans to sign after the restriction is removed.
