The contract of 26-year-old Moroccan and Dutch goalkeeper Issam El Maach, who did not make any appearances for FC Twente in four years, has been terminated by mutual agreement. Last year, El Maach was loaned to Roda JC. El Maach stated that because his perspective as a goalkeeper at FC Twente had recently changed, they had decided together that his future lies outside FC Twente. He added that he had a great time there and thanked everyone for the past years. On the club website, El Maach said that he is fit and available and ready for a new challenge.
