The Italy Under-21s international has also attracted interest from Everton and Chelsea. Chelsea's ownership group, BlueCo, is reported to be an admirer and has discussed a potential move to Strasbourg as a development pathway. The Friedkin Group, associated with both Everton and Roma, is also understood to be conducting extensive background work on the player. Interest extends across Europe, with Napoli, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Benfica, and Sporting all tracking his progress. Intermediaries have confirmed there is growing interest in Doumbia from within the Premier League, and his contract, which runs until 2029, puts his club in a strong negotiating position. His current Transfermarkt market value is €8.00m. Reports from April 2026 state Venezia's asking price is a firm €15 million. The club also reportedly rejected offers of around €6 million during the January 2026 transfer window.
