Hull City are reportedly interested in signing Ismaël Boura this January but face competition from fellow Championship clubs Preston North End and Blackburn Rovers. The 25-year-old left-back, a Comoros international with 12 caps, has attracted considerable attention for his performances in Ligue 2, where he has registered one goal and two assists in 17 appearances this season. It is understood that all three English clubs have made it clear they are keen on a deal for the defender as they look to make defensive reinforcements. Boura is in his third season with Troyes, has a contract until the summer of 2027, and is considered a key player for the French side. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.50m. It is not known what fee would convince Troyes to sell before the 2 February transfer deadline, nor is it known if the player would be open to a move to English football.
