Midfielder Isaiah Ahmed, aged 20 and a holder of both Curacao and Netherlands nationalities, has transferred to SC Telstar from sc Heerenveen, signing a contract that runs until the summer of 2029. Ahmed, who made three appearances for Heerenveen's senior team, had not secured a regular place at the club. His prospects for playing time under manager Robin Veldman were not considered high, which was a factor in his decision to move to Telstar for a better opportunity. He is the eighth new player to join the club this summer. The youth international has four caps for the Curaçao U20 team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €125k.
