The media linked Fenerbahçe goalkeeper Irfan Can Eğribayat with Lech Poznań, but the transfer will not happen. Lech is remaining with their previous option.

According to George Tsarouchas, Lech Poznań has reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe regarding the transfer of İrfan Can Eğribayat and is considered the most likely to sign him. Doruk Tecimer states that Fenerbahçe expects 1.2 million euro for the sale of the goalkeeper, which is the amount they paid to acquire him from Göztepe. Both Polish clubs are reportedly ready to pay this amount.

Lech Poznań has been linked with an interest in İrfan Can Eğribayat, a Turkish goalkeeper from Fenerbahçe. It is reported that the 27-year-old is looking for a new club because there is no longer a place for him at the Istanbul side. He joined the club in 2023 for 1.2 million euros. Other Ekstraklasa clubs, specifically Legia Warszawa and Cracovia, have also been previously connected with the player. His contract with Fenerbahçe is valid until June 30, 2027. In the current 2025/2026 Süper Lig season, Eğribayat has made 3 appearances. He has 2 caps for the Türkiye U21 national team and his current market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €2.00m. It was reported in December 2025 that Cracovia had submitted a formal offer of an unknown value.
