Panathinaikos is considering acquiring Barcelona's 27-year-old Spanish goalkeeper, Iñaki Peña, who is reportedly high on the Greek club's list along with Vlachodimos. In May 2023, Peña signed a contract extension with Barcelona that is valid until 2026 and includes a release clause of €400 million. The goalkeeper has not yet been capped for the Spanish national team and spent the 2025/2026 season on loan at Elche CF, making 16 appearances in LaLiga. His current market value is €4.00m, according to Transfermarkt, and Ajax has also been recently linked with the player.
