Ilyas Bouazzaoui Transfer from KRC Genk II to Club Brugge

Ilyas Bouazzaoui, previously part of Club Brugge, is returning after six years at KRC Genk. He signed a three-year contract with Club Brugge until 2028. Bouazzaoui will join Club NXT to finish the current season's program in preparation for next season's integration. The announcement was made on the KRC Genk's website and confirmed by Club NXT's social media.

Club Brugge is making efforts to acquire Ilyas Bouazzaoui, an 18-year-old offensive midfielder who is currently with Jong Genk in the Challenger Pro League. With Bouazzaoui's contract nearing its end, Club Brugge aims to capitalize on the opportunity to bring him back. Bouazzaoui, who was part of Club Brugge's youth academy before joining Genk in 2019, is expected to join Club NXT, where he will find himself in familiar surroundings if the transfer goes through. Having represented both the Belgian and Moroccan youth national teams, Bouazzaoui has had limited playing time at Jong Genk, including only one start and four substitute appearances this season. Club Brugge, confident in re-signing him, views Bouazzaoui as a promising talent for their future plans.
