Igor Tyjon Transfer from Blackburn Rovers to Monza

Monza has recently been mentioned among several clubs interested in Igor Tyjon, after the 17-year-old English-Polish forward refused to sign a lucrative new contract with Blackburn Rovers. With his current agreement expiring in June, coach Valérien Ismaël has removed the forward from the first team, and the club now has its final opportunity to sell him for a significant fee. Atalanta has also been recently linked with Tyjon. According to information from Ben Jacobs, Arsenal is working on a deal for the player. Arsenal has monitored Tyjon for a long time. Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Chelsea have been mentioned in the past in connection with the player. Additionally, Piotr Koźmiński reported that Raków Częstochowa, Legia Warszawa, Jagiellonia Białystok, and Widzew Łódź are also interested. Tyjon has scored 3 goals in 5 appearances for the England U18 team. In the 2025/2026 season, he has scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists in 11 appearances in youth and cup competitions. In the summer of 2025, Arsenal reportedly had bids of up to €3 million rejected, while in January 2026, reports suggested a fee of around €1.15 million would be sufficient for a transfer.
