Following an injury to Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Napoli is seeking to sign a full-back. Gabriele Zappa of Cagliari is their primary target. Should the club fail to secure Zappa, they have identified several alternative options, including 23-year-old Belgian right-back Ignace Van der Brempt of Como. Van der Brempt is a former Belgium U21 international, has made 8 appearances in Serie A this season, and has a contract with Como until 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.50m. Van der Brempt has also been linked with Lens and Ajax. Other players being considered are Timothy Castagne, who is currently at Fulham, and Davide Calabria.
