AZ is open to Ibrahim Sadiq departing in the winter, as the Ghanaian winger wants to play more minutes elsewhere. Director of football Max Huiberts stated that the club is willing to cooperate in finding a solution. According to Max Huiberts, Sadiq's agent has recently indicated that Ibrahim wants to play every week. Sadiq's contract runs until mid-2028. If a club comes forward this winter offering him that opportunity, AZ is open to negotiations. Transfermarkt currently estimates the market value of the 25-year-old attacker at three million euros. Sadiq joined AZ in September 2023 and has made 13 appearances in the Eredivisie this season, scoring two goals. He has not yet been capped by the Ghanaian national team.
