Ibrahim Diabaté leaving GAIS?
youm7.com reported that Ibrahim Diabate was in negotiations at an advanced stage for a transfer to Al-Ahly. GAIS's initial expected demand was 2.5 million euros, but this valuation dropped to two million dollars, or approximately 1.75 million euros, before the end of the transfer window. The Swedish club is maintaining this price. Consequently, an agreement with Al-Ahly has not yet been reached, as the African giant is offering 1.5 million and is not willing to increase the offer. The player has already agreed to the terms from the Egyptian club but is in an uncertain situation as he cannot act without GAIS's final approval.
Ibrahim Diabate has accepted an offer from Al-Ahly. According to Africafoot.com and fotbollskanalen.se, representatives of GAIS have approved the sale terms. GAIS accepted an offer of 1.2 million dollars, which is slightly over a million euros, to be transferred immediately. There is also an option for the payment to be spread over three installments, totaling just under 1.3 million euros. Diabate, who initially wanted a two-year contract, was convinced to a four-year deal. The agreement includes a signing bonus and a salary of almost 780 thousand euros for the first season, which will increase annually by just under 87 thousand, rising to over a million euros in the final year of the contract.
The 25-year-old said recently that he wanted to move to Ligue 1. His knowledge of the French language and strong interest from that market make a transfer more likely.
According to africafoot.com, Diabate is in negotiations for a move to Al-Ahly. He was not initially interested in joining the club from Cairo, but that changed after the appointment of Danish coach Jess Thorup as manager. The same source reports that the player has now expressed a strong desire to play for the 'Red Devils' in Egypt. Al-Ahly made an initial offer of 800,000 dollars, equivalent to just under 690,000 euros. This amount may not be sufficient, given there were earlier reports of two million euros. Diabate is now the main summer transfer target of the African giant.
Lech Poznan shows concrete interest in 25-year-old Ivorian striker Ibrahim Diabaté, who is currently leading the Allsvenskan scoring chart with 14 goals. They have been scouting the striker for a while. Gais is aware of the Polish club's interest and is prepared for potential offers from foreign clubs before the international transfer windows close on September 1st. Diabaté's contract with Gais runs until December 31, 2028, and his market value is estimated at €1 million by Transfermarkt. French club Auxerre has also been linked with a move for the striker.
