FC Nordsjælland is nearing an agreement to sign 24-year-old Egyptian winger Ibrahim Adel from Al-Jazira. If the final details are settled, the deal is expected to be a loan with a purchase option, allowing the Danish club to make the move permanent from the summer. FC Nordsjælland has previously been interested in the player, having tried to buy him from Pyramids FC in 2022, but that transfer did not materialize. The move is in line with the club's priority to strengthen its offense before the transfer window closes. Adel has 21 senior international caps for Egypt. He joined Al-Jazira in July 2025 and his contract there runs until June 30, 2030. In the current 2025/2026 season, Adel has made 8 appearances in the UAE Pro League.
