Hyeon-gyu Oh Transfer from Genk to Crystal Palace

Genk striker Hyeon-gyu Oh was offered in recent days to Crystal Palace, which still has the objective of signing a forward this month. The 24-year-old was reportedly also offered to Leeds United. Another Premier League club, Fulham, has confirmed its interest and is said to be actively pursuing the signing, partly because PSV is not cooperating on a deal for their other target, Ricardo Pepi. The South Korean was previously close to a record transfer to VfB Stuttgart in the summer before the deal collapsed. The South Korea international has 24 caps and 6 goals for his country and is under contract at Genk until June 2028. The collapsed transfer to VfB Stuttgart in September 2025 reportedly involved an initial fee between €25 million and €28 million, which was then revised down to a €20 million offer after a failed medical, an amount Genk rejected. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €7.00m.
