Both Newcastle United and Manchester United have held talks with the representatives of Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson. Newcastle's interest is reportedly heightened as they consider him a potential replacement for Bruno Guimaraes, who is wanted by Arsenal. While no official bids have been submitted, Frankfurt are seeking a transfer fee of around €50 million, although Bundesliga expert Tom Weber told FootballTransfers it is looking increasingly unlikely they will get their desired fee.
