Ahmed Soliman, a member of Zamalek's Board of Directors, has confirmed that Zamalek is in negotiations with Ludogorets for Hossam Abdelmaguid. Abdelmaguid is a 25-year-old Egyptian centre-back and was part of Egypt's World Cup squad. Soliman clarified that discussions are ongoing between Zamalek's management and the player's representatives, who are in direct contact with Ludogorets, and that an offer has also been received from Sharjah in the UAE. The situation is described as delicate, as the club needs Abdelmaguid, but his contract expires at the end of next season, posing a risk of losing him for free. Zamalek's decision is further complicated by a transfer ban which prevents them from registering new players. No final decision has been made yet to either approve or reject the offer.
