Several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United and Chelsea, have also been linked with the defender. Recent reports from December 2025 suggest Chelsea could make a €60 million approach for the player. Atalanta signed him from Genoa in July 2025 for a fee that was reported to be up to €20 million.
