Parma's 31-year-old Brazilian central midfielder Hernani, who has made only four appearances in Serie A this season under manager Cuesta, is expected to return to Serie B, where he previously played with Genoa and Reggiana. The player is near to joining Spezia. The terms of the transfer are yet to be determined. Hernani's contract with Parma expires in 2026, but the club has an option to extend it for another season. The player joined the club in September 2020. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.50m.
