Journalist Kevin Sauvage reported that Standard rejected a one million euro transfer offer from Dynamo Kyiv for Henry Lawrence. According to Sauvage, the Belgian club demanded four million euros, which caused Dynamo to withdraw from the negotiations.

Dynamo Kiev reportedly made an offer for Henry Lawrence, which Sudpresse also confirmed. The offer from Kiev was immediately rejected by Standard because it was for only 1 million euros. Standard will reportedly not enter negotiations for a fee lower than 4 million euros for Lawrence.

Standard Liege has rejected a bid from Dynamo Kyiv for former Chelsea defender Henry Lawrence this summer. Ipswich is among a number of other clubs also interested in the 24-year-old English player who has performed well for the Belgian side. Lawrence, who joined the club in July 2024, has a contract that runs until June 2029 and has four caps for England's U20 team. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €4.00m.
