According to Gazzetta.gr, Volos have announced the signing of Hamza Mendyl, who was released by Aris. Mendyl signed his new contract after passing the required medical and ergometric tests.

Hamza Mendyl, a 29-year-old Moroccan left-back, is expected to continue his career at Volos, having reached an agreement with the Thessalian club. After being released by Aris at the end of the season, Mendyl had attracted interest from other teams in Greece and abroad but chose Volos. The club finished 7th in the Stoiximan Super League. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 11 domestic appearances for Aris. The player has 20 caps for Morocco, and according to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €800k.
