Rangers made an unsuccessful offer for Standard Liege midfielder Hakim Sahabo, as their six-figure bid was considered insufficient. An official agreement has been reached for the 20-year-old to move to AEK Athens for a £1.3m fee. Sahabo joined Standard Liège in January 2024, has made 14 league appearances this season, and has a contract with the Belgian club until June 2026.
