Rio Ave has expressed interest in acquiring Gustavo Furtado, a Brazilian forward currently playing for Lamia in the Greek first division. The club from Vila do Conde aims to bolster their attacking options and considers the 23-year-old as a promising addition to their front line. Evangelos Marinakis, who holds an 80% stake in Rio Ave's SAD, is identified as a significant figure in facilitating the deal. Furtado, who has had previous stints with several clubs in Portugal, is a prominent player for Lamia, the team positioned at the bottom of the Greek league, having scored three goals in 13 matches. Transfermarkt has valued him at 350,000 euros.
