According to Tuttomercato, there is growing interest from Roma in Gustavo Puerta of Racing Santander.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Gian Piero Gasperini has communicated to D'Amico that Gustavo Puerta would be valued as a replacement. The same report stated that Racing Santander is asking for a minimum of 20 million euros for him and that Roma is interested in Puerta, who is performing well at the World Cup with Colombia.

Roma and another Italian club, Atalanta, have both registered interest in 22-year-old Colombian international Gustavo Puerta.
