It is understood that the two parties have largely reached an agreement, and the transfer is expected to become official soon. The coaching staff is said to have a positive view of the move because of Güvenç's familiarity with the club and his Süper Lig experience. His leadership qualities and influence in the locker room were also reportedly decisive factors in the process. Güvenç joined Galatasaray in August 2023, and his contract is valid until June 2028. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €200k, and he has been capped four times for the Türkiye U23 national team.
