Marítimo announced the agreement to sign Gonçalo Tabuaço, a 23-year-old Portuguese goalkeeper, from Lugo, a third division Spanish club. Tabuaço has played 17 matches for Lugo, including one against Atlético de Madrid in the Spanish Cup. Before moving to Spain, he played for B SAD and Estrela da Amadora in Portugal. He also has four international appearances for Portugal's youth teams (U21, U18, and U17).
