According to information gathered by TuttoMercatoWeb.com, Cesena has requested to sign 22-year-old Italian centre-forward Giuseppe Ambrosino from Napoli on a dry loan. The Serie B club is looking for a replacement for the departing Jalen Blesa and is awaiting approval for the move from Napoli. Ambrosino is currently out of the squad at Napoli. Venezia is no longer pursuing the player after having definitively abandoned their interest to sign another attacker. Ambrosino joined Napoli in July 2022 and has a contract with the club until June 2030. He has 11 caps and 2 goals for the Italy U21 team. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €2.50m. Earlier in January 2026, reports had indicated a loan move to Venezia was agreed with a €2 million option to buy, which would become an obligation if the club were promoted.
