OGC Nice, after signing Laurent Abergel, is considering adding a second midfielder and is reportedly targeting Giuliano Galoppo, a 27-year-old Argentinian-Italian. Before Nice can begin discussions with River Plate, the club must first arrange for midfield departures. Galoppo, a former São Paulo player, is under contract with River Plate until December 2028. He joined River Plate in January 2026 and has made 10 appearances and scored one goal in the 2025/2026 domestic league season. His current market value is €3.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
