Bournemouth has placed Giovanni Fabbian, a 22-year-old Italian attacking midfielder for Bologna, on their special watch list. The player is also reportedly of interest to Lazio, Fiorentina, and Napoli in Italy. Fabbian has 17 caps and 4 goals for Italy's U21 team and has a contract with Bologna until June 2028. This season in Serie A, he has made 12 appearances and scored one goal. Reports in January 2026 indicated Lazio presented an offer between €12-13 million, while Bologna's valuation was cited as being between €12 million and €15 million. Bologna had originally signed Fabbian from Inter Milan in August 2023 for a fee reported to be €5 million.
