PAOK officially announced on New Year's Eve the signing of 18-year-old midfielder Giannis Sarris from Modena. The player, who was born in March 2007, has signed a contract with the club until 30 June 2029. Sarris joined Modena in 2023, initially for the U17 team before being promoted to the Primavera 2, where he made 41 appearances, scoring five goals and providing two assists. The midfielder, whose previous contract with Modena was due to run until 2027, had also participated in the first team's preparations. Sarris is an international for the Greece U19 National Team, for which he has six caps.
