Gianluca Scamacca Transfer from Atalanta to Roma
Tuttomercato has reported on Gianluca Scamacca's aspirations to make a return to his former club, Roma. According to the report, Scamacca dreams of going back to his hometown club, where he began his career before transferring to PSV at the age of 16. His desire to return to Roma is said to be strengthened by the presence of Gian Piero Gasperini, the coach under whom Scamacca has thrived at Atalanta. It was during Scamacca's recent wedding in Rome that the two reportedly discussed the possibility of this move. With Mateo Retegui's prominence in the national team rising and Scamacca's starting position at Atalanta uncertain, he is reportedly open to leaving in order to reclaim his spot in the national team. Atalanta is reported to be willing to consider offers starting at 25 million euros. Meanwhile, Roma's sporting director, Florent Ghisolfi, is said to be evaluating the feasibility of the transfer, although he has not yet made any official contacts.
Gianluca Scamacca, who developed his football skills in the Roma youth academy and recently contributed significantly to Atalanta's Europa League triumph, is rumored to be making a return to Roma. The speculation has been intensified by the appointment of Gasperini as Roma's coach, who has reportedly spoken highly of Scamacca on numerous occasions. Scamacca is said to be keen on returning to the capital, and Atalanta might be willing to sell him for 25 million euros, given that they already have Retegui in their attacking lineup. Nonetheless, Roma is also exploring other possibilities for strengthening their offense, including players like Lorenzo Lucca and Nikola Krstovic, as they consider their options in light of the uncertain futures of Dovbyk and Abraham.
