Lokomotiv and Akhmat are negotiating to sign 22-year-old Galymzhan Kenzhebek, a winger for the Kazakhstan national team and Elimai whose contract with his current club expires at the end of December. Journalist Ivan Karpov initially reported this on his Telegram channel, and sources from 'Championship' later confirmed the information. Akhmat sees the forward as a replacement for Lechi Sadulaev. According to Karpov, Kenzhebek has previously drawn interest from other clubs, as Krasnodar and SKA-Khabarovsk scouted him two years ago, and Akron considered him this year. Kenzhebek joined Yelimay Semey in July 2025 and has 10 caps and 3 goals for Kazakhstan. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €600k.
