Atromitos are nearing an agreement to sign 27-year-old Belgian goalkeeper Gaëtan Coucke from Sampdoria, a move prompted by an injury to their goalkeeper Alexey Koselev. The deal is a loan that includes a purchase option. The two clubs are reportedly in the process of exchanging documents. Coucke has made just two appearances in Serie B for the Italian club since joining from Saudi Arabian side Al-Orobah last August. According to transfermarkt, the player's market value is estimated to be around €1 million. His contract at Sampdoria is set to expire on June 30, 2027, and he has no senior caps for Belgium.
