FC Porto is interested in Gabriel Mec, an 18-year-old winger from Grêmio. Sporting, Shakhtar, and PSV are also interested in the Brazil U-17 international, who has one cap. Mec, who has made 22 appearances for the Brazilian club's main team this year, has one year remaining on his contract. Grêmio is attempting to renew his contract until 2028, but an agreement has not yet been reached. A transfer would require a fee of approximately €16 million. In recent months, Grêmio's asking price has reportedly been between €15 million and €21 million. It is understood that Shakhtar Donetsk made offers of €15 million in May 2026 and €16 million in March 2026.
