Grêmio have denied receiving any offer from Hull City for Gabriel Mec. The club stated that an official offer of 11.5 million euros from the Premier League newcomer was not made.

According to journalist Simon Bianchini, Hull City is preparing a new attempt to buy Gabriel Mec after their previous offer of 11.5 million euros failed. Hull City is currently far from the 20 million euros demanded by Gremio. A new round of negotiations between the two clubs is scheduled for next week.

Hull City, a newcomer to the English Premier League, has become the first club to make a specific offer for 18-year-old Gremio attacking midfielder Gabriel Mec. The club has offered a €25 million package, which consists of a €17 million immediate payment, €3 million in bonuses, and a potential of up to €5 million for Gremio from a future resale. Gremio had previously indicated they would not sell Mec for less than €20-25 million, and Hull City is the first club to approach the Brazilian club's valuation. This has positioned the English side as the leading contender to sign the player, who has also attracted serious interest from Shakhtar. The Ukrainian club has reportedly been interested in Mec since last August but has not been able to reach an agreement with Gremio.
