Lucas Gourna-Douath, 23, is set to make a permanent departure from RB Salzburg, a club he transferred to from AS Saint-Étienne in the summer of 2022 for a fee of €15 million. The defensive midfielder is reportedly no longer part of the Austrian club's plans and recently had loan spells at AS Roma and Le Havre. It is expected that Gourna-Douath will sign a four-season contract with English Premier League club Hull City, provided there are no last-minute changes.
