After a loan spell at Braga during the 2025/26 season, 20-year-old Brazilian defensive midfielder Gabriel Moscardo is set to be loaned by PSG to Espanyol. The Portuguese club had wanted to keep the player but their attempt was unsuccessful. Other clubs from Spain, such as Getafe and Real Valladolid, were also interested, along with Monza from Italy and Colônia from Germany. Moscardo chose Espanyol, a decision made in agreement with PSG, as the French club believes he will develop better in Spain. His contract with PSG is valid until June 2028. During his loan, he made 23 appearances in Liga Portugal for Braga. Moscardo has been capped once for the Brazil U23 national team. His current market value is €7.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
