Flamengo made a proposal to Santos for 24-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão as they look for a substitute for Matheus Cunha, who has an agreement to join Cruzeiro in 2026. The club needs to find another reserve for Rossi, but the negotiations for Brazão did not advance as the value requested by Santos was far from what Flamengo was willing to pay for a backup. Brazão's contract with Santos is valid until December 2028, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €8.00m.
